Laguna Seca Superbike Concorso and Ducati Island 2008

Keith Hale and his 1974 750 Super Sport. In Keith's words:
Ducati built 410 750 Super Sports in 1974 to commemorate Paul Smart's and Bruno Spaggiari's upset one-two victory at Imola in 1972. My bike is one of 88 that were imported into the United States. I purchased this bike new in April of 1975. I've used it as a club racer, a touring machine and for many, many years as my daily rider. I do my own maintenance and, over the years, I've made a few modifications for racing and to keep it on the road but, except for a repaint in 2001 and an aluminum fuel tank this year, the bike is mostly original. In May, 2002, Cycle World magazine featured my bike as the "100,000 Mile Duck". It was also included in "The Seven Wonders of Motorcycles" on the Discovery Channel in 2004. I now have a more modern Ducati as my daily rider but I love this bike and still ride it regularly.
