Casey Stoner won the championship, Ducati was in the spotlight and now the men in red were heading for California. Ducati Island was ready, the Superbike Concorso entrants were lined up in what the judges called "the toughest round yet" and the weather was on our side, simply perfect with no sign of letting up. Andre Frey and Boris Landoff entered this 2007 1098. Last year was this was a last minute display only entry but this year it was in the compitition and won what might have been the toughest class - the Casey Stoner award for current production superbikes
