The "DucRod" is one of 249 built. Rescued as a pile of parts 4 years ago, It took most of 3 years to find the missing pieces. This SS was completely rebuilt from the ground up consisting of the following; Stainless spokes, new wheel bearings, polished fork sliders, new fork seals, new fork tubes, new steering head bearings, polished triple clamps, new front master cylinder, braided steel brake lines, MMS hydraulic clutch conversion, Tommaselli adjustable clip-ons, customized wiring harness, new swingarm pin and bronze bushiDucrodngs,modified Sport swingarm, original fuel tank rebuilt/reinforced with two layers of 7oz fiberglass cloth using corrosion resistant vinylester resin and Red Kote tank sealer, seat covered in pebble grain leather by Bates Leathers, Works Performance shocks, frame painted in metallic silver, body work in miniflake silver with candy blue stripes and lettering, painted by Briggs, plain bearing crank conversion, direct-feed full flow spin-on oil filter conversion, cylinder head oil restrictors, porthole window added to the cases, transmission windage tray ventilated for oil drainback, 450 clutch springs, cylinders over-bored 6mm, transmission gears modified for durability, all engine bearings replaced with SKF Explorer series. It rides better than new and gets ridden at least once a week.
