Best one yet? That's what I kept hearing all day. There were an awful lot of things to make me think it might have been, not the least of which was the professional stunt riders aweing the crowd and Nicky Hayden catching a snack in the hospitality tent before signing autographs. Or Barber's bringing "Deja Blue" because Cook Neilson was coming. So yes, maybe it was the best one yet. Take a look for yourself and see what you think......

Welcome to Ducati Island and DucatiDayDaytona 2009
Ducati Island isn't not really an Island, more like an "island state of mind"
Things get started on the island early in the week, it's really more of a village of tents and vendors and takes time to get organized. That's the apparel tent that Ducati Daytona set up.
Inside it's a treasure trove
This line of Hypermotards was lined up micrometer precise
OK, now for Ducati Island and DucatiDayDaytona. LOTS new this year. Lets start with the Ducati Showdown contest. With lots of great prizes for the winners it's sure to be a highlight of the weekend.
And making it's first apperance was Deja Blue, the exact replica of Old Blue Barber's Museum commissioned Rich Lambrechts to build as a surprise to Cook Neilson and Phil Schilling. Cook was coming to Daytona so Barber's loaned it to Ducati for the weekend
Then there was these guys, Ernie "Yes Man" Vigil and Nick "Apex" Brocha.
Lots more on them later, including a great video
