Novegro Mostra Scambio is held in Milan each year at a fairground right next to the Linate airport. Because it's held in winter the crowd is mostly local - Italians, Germans with a few Brits thrown in for good measure. Americans are rare, the combination of the dollar vs the euro and the expected weather generally keeps them away. The meet covers three huge structures and a number of lots outside. So many people attend it's crazy - vendors and buyers are everywhere as far as the eye can see. And what they have for sale, well, that's where the photos come in because there's no way to describe it - from the amazing to the undefinable, it's all here in droves. Join me for a look at Novegro....

But these fair motos were my favorites. They had dummy motors made from real parts
That's the FMI display. The bike on the far end is the Loris Cappirossi #65 Motogp Ducati
At the other end of the spectrum was this lovely racing Cucciolo
Aermacchi is an Italian Harley Davidson. They are pretty great little bikes actually, built in Italy and licensed to HD in name only.
These Kawasaki's were like jewels in the sun. The photo really doesn't do them justice
And so we end where we begin, with a never ending line of Vespas basking in the frosty air and Italian sunshine.
Ciao!
