The first thing you have to get used to (OK, this part is easy) is that everywhere you look, and everywhere you listen it's nothing but Ducati's. Every stop light, gas station, and cafe has them scattered any way you turn. Welcome to World Ducati Week 2007 where the passion is Red and the Rev's are high!

Alfa Romeo was an event sponsor and my favorite mode of 4 wheeled transport so it was nice to be able to check out the newest models since we don't have them in the US
This man needs no introduction. You could always tell where he was, just look for the crowd
Troy Bayliss and Lorenzo Lanzi take to the track
Yes, he speaks Italian! That's the international hang signel for (loosely translated) for "what? are you serious??"
A little impromptu showing off was in order
Franco Farne. His history is the history of Ducati. He won his first race in the 50's as a rider and is still wrenching on WSBK bikes today. No deeper well of Ducati knowledge could be found than this man.
If you think his hair gets attention from the front you should see the back. This is the same guy that stamped "bring me to life" on the engine case of the Parts Unlimited Ducati in AMA. He's a gem
Dario Marchetti. DRE instructer and Ducati racer. Pretty much everybody who was anybody in Ducati racing was on pit lane
When the former champions did the laps of honor Troy waved the flag, a tribute from the current champion to the past champions. That's Paolo Casoli taking the green. One of the best things I saw all weekend was the happiness on the part of the Ducati Corse mechanics to be working on Paolo's bike again. The respect for this man is HUGE.
