Heading out for practice
The Ducati riders wait for the track to open for a short practice to check the track conditions.
And they're off!
The start of heat race one, 6 bikes took the start - that's Ben Thompson on #907, the eventual winner and pole position holder in his second AMA Superbike race ever.
Peace breaks out between the riders and the AMA. Looks like there's going to be a race after all. The riders get ready to go.
