Laguna Seca Ducati Island. It's literally the "Mother of all Ducati Islands" because it all started here. Inspired years ago by the red hillside covered with Ducati's at Donington Park, it's become the world standard for Ducati race weekend parties. It's been a long term partnership really - Ducati North America's goal is to yearly "raise the bar" and the Ducatisti who attend year after year have been hand in hand with the plan, building bikes and planning adventures with this weekend in central focus. This year the stars aligned - the weather was perfect and the date fell over the 4th of July holiday weekend, allowing Ducatisti to spend a three day weekend getting fully into the Island groove. The result was (just my opinion but I've been to them all) the best one yet. See for yourself, join us for a stroll around the island. Welcome to Vicki's View "You Were There, Laguna Seca"..........

It's probably a good idea to start by checking out the Southern California Ducati clothing booth. Staffed with knowledgeable folks, it's a danger to your wallet but what a feast - if Ducati makes it they probably have it in multiples. (I bought a new Puma team jacket!)
Good thing we came early, looks like everybody has the same idea. We get rung up and head out to see what's on the schedule

Heading over to Ducati North America hospitality where all you have to do is show your registration and a photo id and for the rest of the weekend there's a place to get some cold water, snacks and sunscreen, while watching the tracks live feed and meeting up with friends. At Ducati everyone is a VIP, no extra charge!
Heading out from hospitality it's hard not to notice there's an epic line forming. Let's check it out.
