If Barber Vintage Museum and it's Motorsport Park aren't on your "favorite tracks" list it's a pretty good bet you haven't been there. This year Ducati North America added Barbers to it's Ducati Island schedule and the result pumped up the volume on what has always been a really fun weekend. Join me for a visit to Barbers.

Ducati Island hospitality is well known and open to all Ducati owners
Checking registrations at the door is an army of volunteers known as Team Ducatisti. It's an important part of why this runs so smooth. That's Pierre and Sophie. Thanks guys!
Ducati Island offers lots of photo oppertunities. This future Ducatisti picks out his favorite
That's Deja Blue, the exact replica of Cook Neilson's Daytona Superbike winning 750SS
A weekend at Barbers is a great big happening which happens to have motorcycle racing going on as well so there was plenty to do besides the races. The Birmingham zoo set up a petting zoo and then there was this guy - Rhett Rotten and the Wall of Death
Rhett does it the old fashioned way in his genuine board track race track built in 1941. He rides the walls right up to the guidewire. It's really something to see, is genuinely entertaining and fits the vintage motiff perfectly by making history come alive.
Back on the "Island" Deja Blue was ready for his closeup
And the Showdown finalists were getting a closer look in general
In the pits Larry Pegram's 1098R was ready for battle
