It has a name, Stonegate Farm, but what it really is, is anybody's, everybody's, dream garage assuming you dream BIG and in bright, vivid color. At first view, when approaching by car on this windy, snowy night, with the main house all lit for Christmas it seems it must be a business or a museum. But no, it's our friends place gleaming in the snow. A quick stop in the main house, a farmhouse built in the early 1900's all decorated for Christmas in the most picture perfect way, glasses of wine all around and we are off to the main barn.....

That's the main barn, on this night it's lit like a Christmas tree and absolutely gleaming in the snow
Inside it's warm and toasty. My head is on a swivel, trying to take it all in. First stop is the massive wood bar for a snack and a top up.
Attention to detail is everywhere. The high art of the display is impressive
The main barn flows from display area to display area. This is a full antique Barber Shop, complete with lighted barber pole and a good selection of hair tonics
This sort of display is typical, everywhere there are items that tie into the various themes. No reproductions, this is all the real deal
That's a Chrysler Airflow from the 30's. The collection is mainly Deco period cars and trucks as well as a huge collection of specialty tractors
This is the entrance display which includes this ultra rare Hudson pick up truck
